Susan Chalmners of DuJardin will be teaching Stepping On The Path: Awaken Your Herbal Knowledge here at Slate and Moss!

If you've always been curious about the plants growing around you & wanted to learn more, but didn’t know where to start or how to go about it– this workshop is for you!

We are all born with plant knowledge, but sadly, in this modern, tech-obsessed world, many of us are not in touch with it. This workshop will focus on connecting to & awakening that innate knowledge, showing you how to deepen that connection one plant at a time.

A beginner-level class, this workshop will cover the basics of working with plants out in the field, how to compile your knowledge by beginning your own Materia Medica, & recommended information to include in your plant monographs. Together, we will all create our own monographs working with live plants.

Each attendee will leave with their own Foraging Calendar specific to our area & their own Plant Monograph, blank worksheets for creating more monographs, & a list of Resources & Vendors to aid their journey. Additional items to support this class are available for purchase if desired, but are not necessary to attend.
